TrackMyMoney terms of use
1. Who we are
TrackMyMoney is made by IntellectGlimpse ("we", "us"), an individual developer based in Mau, Uttar Pradesh, India. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. You must be 18 or older to use the app or buy Pro.
2. What the app is
- A record-keeping tool for your own accounts, spending, income and money lent or borrowed.
- Not financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Totals, reports and insights are calculated only from what you enter. Make your own decisions, and talk to a qualified professional where you need advice.
- Not connected to your bank. Balances in the app can differ from your real bank balance.
3. Your responsibilities
- Check your entries. Entries suggested from bank SMS are guesses and can be wrong, incomplete or duplicated. Review them before relying on them.
- Keep your phone, your Google account and the app lock secure.
- Keep backups. Data can be lost if your phone is lost or reset, the app is uninstalled, Google Drive or your Google account is unavailable, or you delete it yourself.
- Use the app only for lawful purposes and only for your own records. Record details about other people (for example, money lent to a friend) only as needed for your own records.
4. Licence
We give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app on your own devices. The app, its design and its name belong to IntellectGlimpse. Don't copy, resell, reverse engineer, or try to break or overload the app or our server. Your ledger is yours; we claim no rights in it.
5. Pro subscription
- Pro adds sync between phones, CSV export, monthly report PDFs, unlimited own categories and reports older than 12 months.
- Payment and renewal. Pro is sold through Google Play, monthly or yearly, at the price shown in Google Play before you buy. Google Play charges you and renews the subscription automatically at the end of each period until you cancel.
- Free trial. Where a free trial is offered, you are charged when it ends unless you cancel before then. Trials are for new subscribers only.
- Cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Pro stays on until the end of the period you paid for. Uninstalling the app or deleting your data does not cancel the subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Google Play under its refund policy, along with any legal right you have to cancel a purchase where you live. We don't take or store your card details. Google Play's own terms also apply to the purchase.
- When Pro ends, sync stops and Pro features lock. Your ledger stays on your phone and in your Drive backups. The copy on our server is deleted 30 days after sync ends.
- We may change Pro's features or price. Price changes follow Google Play's rules and notices, and never apply to a period you already paid for.
6. Availability
The app works offline. Sync depends on our server and on Google services, which may sometimes be slow or unavailable, including for reasons outside our control. We may update, change or stop the app or any feature. If we stop Pro, we'll tell you in advance and you can keep your data on your phone.
7. No warranty
The app is provided "as is" and "as available". As far as the law allows, we make no promises that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose, or that its calculations will always be correct.
8. Limitation of liability
- As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost money, lost profits, missed payments, penalties, or decisions you make based on the app.
- We are not liable for data loss caused by your device, your Google account or Google Drive, or by deleting or uninstalling the app.
- Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Pro in the 12 months before the claim, or ₹1,000 if you paid nothing.
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be limited, or any right you have under consumer protection law that cannot legally be limited.
9. Ending use
You can stop using the app at any time and delete your data in the app (You → Account → Delete all my data). We may suspend Pro for misuse, such as attacking or overloading our server.
10. Disputes
- If something goes wrong, please email us first at [email protected] and give us 30 days to fix it. Most problems are solved this way.
- These terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to any consumer protection rights you have where you live, the courts at Mau, Uttar Pradesh, India have jurisdiction.
11. Changes and general
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. For important changes, we'll tell you in the app or in the store listing before they apply. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can stop using it and cancel Pro. If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
